AMERICAN APPAREL AND URBAN OUTFITTERS TO BRING EXCLUSIVE SALES TO THE STREET!
Summer Soulstice announces the first
American Apparel and Urban Outfitters Soulstice Sale.
Retail offerings will be maximized with exclusive day-of sales
MILWAUKEE- For the first time ever, American Apparel and Urban Outfitters will bring their merchandise to the streets with exclusive Summer Soulstice discounts, Saturday June 20 2009, 12-8pm.
The sale, on North Ave between Prospect and Farwell Ave, will provide Soulstice visitors an opportunity to peruse racks full of sale items at prices unavailable in stores, without having to venture away from the festival. American Apparel store manager Diane Reynolds anticipates a portion of their sale items to include “scratch and dent” items that would otherwise never be available to the public.
In the spirit of collaboration, The East Side’s private retailers in the neighborhood have warmly received the addition of American Apparel and Urban Outfitters to the annual Soulstice market offerings.
“I'm excited that two of our signature stores will bring their wares out to the street to support this year's festival,” said Jim Plaisted, executive director of the East Side Association.
In addition to the Soulstice Sale, Summer Soulstice Music Festival, beginning at noon, will include Division BMX demonstrations, the annual Rage in the Cage dodge ball tournament, Qdoba Burrito Eating Contest, live artists, the best of local fare, and of course a day full of music, featuring 10 bands on 2 stages.
The 2009 Summer Soulstice Music Festival is brought to you by Miller Brands, Verizon, OnMilwaukee.com, The Onion, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee, G Daddy's BBC, Hooligan's, Red Bull, Cans Bar and Canteen, Vitucci's, Live on North, Toppers, The Eastsider, Twisted Fork and The East Side neighborhood.
